Introduction

Dimmit is a local macOS application that allows you to control the brightness and contrast of your external monitors. This privacy policy explains what data, if any, is collected when you use Dimmit.

No Data Collection

Dimmit does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app runs entirely on your Mac and communicates directly with your monitors via DDC. No analytics, telemetry, or usage data is gathered.

Payments

Dimmit uses Lemon Squeezy to process license purchases. When you make a purchase, Lemon Squeezy handles your payment information according to their own privacy policy. Dimmit does not have access to your payment details.

Cookies

Dimmit does not use cookies or any tracking technologies.

Third-Party Services

Dimmit may check for updates via Sparkle, which connects to GitHub to fetch update information. No personal data is transmitted during this process.

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
